He's basic skill wise, lacks defense and head movement, which should allow Khan to use his speed to box and move. Can he keep Ruslan off him for 12 rounds though...i'd doubt it. An interesting fight IMO.

Lucas could somewhat halt Ruslan coming forward because of his power. (Even then though Ruslan was able to hurt Lucas several times late on.)
Khan doesn't have the pop to keep Ruslan off IMO, even Algieri was able to walk Khan down with some success.

I'm a Khan fan, but i don't think he has the ability to keep a cool head and think straight when under constant pressure. I wouldn't bank on him being able to use his size advantage to keep Ruslan at bay, especially when Ruslan has no repect for Khan's power coming in.

Not that i don't give Khan a chance to win, as i do, a good chance. I just think the 2 styles make for a fun fight..and one that is dangerous for Khan.

Either Ruslan gets to Khan early, hurts him and finishes the fight; or Khan puts on a disciplined, sharp display and gets the points win.
Either way i'd imagine we see a competitive and entertaining fight...and one i'd love to see.

Khan's ducking of Kell Brook is becoming shameful, he can't use the Mayweather line any longer, he's avoiding the Battle of Britain because he knows a loss would devastate his pride.

He went for a guy coming off multiple losses and a former training partner. I really do hope this one comes back to bite him in the ass, and it very well may be the case.

Prov isn't the most skilled but he is hard as nails, and that's half of what you need to beat Khan right there. As long as the ref doesn't allow Khan to do that push and hold bull****, Prov should have no problem walking right through him. This would make for a great fight, let's hope there's some substance to it.

It's been said Khan could be picked for Pac's last fight, I think he ought to rather face a leftie to prime him for facing Pacquiao.

              147 is Khan's kryptonite.

Ruslan will most likely fight in November at Barclays. Amir is an option but it could be any of Haymon's 140-147 guys.

Yeah 147 is Kryptonite to Bradley too

Which is why he fought something like 1 in his entire career in Chaves, and despite winning, was damaged after the fight.

This guy will never fight a top 10 WW ever in his life, but a top 3 JWW puncher is okay. Still, Provodnikov is 1-2 in his last 3 fights which continues Khan's trend of fighting guys on the slide. A supposed top 10 WW who refuses to fight other top 10 WW's, and keeps his top 10 ranking by beating JWW's like Algieri, Molina and now possibly Provodnikov. I'll be rooting for Provodnikov to knock the teeth off Khan's mouth so we can stop talking sht about other top 10 WW's and why he won't fight them.
