It's called "The fight game" has always been called the fight game. This sweet science catchphrase has really gone way too far. I'm not saying stand there all day and trade shots but at some point people want to see fighters engage in a shootout...show you have some grits between your legs. This is all self serving, that's your style and that's fine but don't make it seem like this is what boxing is. Boxing is and will be a brutal sport, you want finesse and choreography go watch ballroom dancing. We want to see all around skills, be good at defense but also be willing to knock a mofo out.

This exactly! I've come to appreciate all styles of boxing. If everyone fought the same it would get boring.

what some not so smart people tend to forget that boxing was built on the backs of WARRIORS that could box your ears off.. fighting the best.. fighting for legacy to be remembered as an all time great.. not fighting CERTIFIED draws past their primes or smaller and take credit for a pot shotting W... That's boring to casual fans that would otherwise flock to the fights to see people like DLH, Varga, Trinidad, Tyson, Hollifield, Ali, Frazier, Duran. I mean DLH became the cash cow cause he would take on the best and knock their asses down, out box them with power and skills, not "tactical clinching" or "ring generalship".. if Mayweahter was really the way to make money and do boxing? you'd have fighters like sweet P Whitaker be the cash cow of his time.. Miguel Vazquez be the draw his weight class, Andre ward would have a leg to stand on in negotiations, Rigondeaux would be the real little brother to Floyd, yet even some of Floyd fans say the Jackal is boring... ha ah irony.. Lara would of gotten the W vs canelo if it was Floyd..

if Floyd faught Floyd? It would definitely be a snooze fest.. he's not an aggressive fighter.. even when he's "walking" people down he's throwing 1 or 2 punches and bounces out..

He's single handedly ruined boxing.. Now days you have chumps like Thurman, kahn, broner, danny all taking that same approach and make money fighting lesser oppositions.. It also has to do with the greed of haymon, arum..

Appreciate is fine.. accept is also fine.. but "paying for" is where the grey area is.. PPV was made for the fights that were worth $$ not to deepen the pockets of some fighters that we ALL know the outcome to it..

I respect all fighters and like a chess match just as much as the Leo/Mares slugfest.. cause I'm a fan.. but as a fan I would much rather pay for Leo/Mares than Mayweather/Berto... BUT I'LL MOST LIKELY STILL WATCH!

LOL!! I wonder what they call you? Since I'm seeing a trend here that you're only on here to defend him to the death! #certified#flomo

No whete in the rules of boxing does it say that because this is a combat sport you must fight with a style that will allow your opponent to hit you. Differing styles have been around combat sports for centuries. Floyd is not the first fighter to use elusiveness and high connect rate as a style. He may have done it the best though.

Why didn't you become a pro boxer and show these fighters like Floyd how the fight game works? Show us your journeymen 12-loss record, with 8 KO losses and having to work full time after retiring from boxing,
                  Having no money, no financial
Support from the same fans like yourself who set the bar for what boxing is. You act like boxing should never change, like it should stay the same way it started, despite the brain damage it has costs many of its participants.

It went too far for you after Pacquiao lost. Don't think your transparency isn't obvious.

How many "mofo's" have you ever knocked out in the ring?
