I get Floyd's approach but I'm not a fan of his current style, far more respect to his younger days but I get why he fights the way he does, he values that 0 above all. I, however, don't get all the warrior bs, hell he barely fights like a professional boxer and uses more of an amateur style to coast through wins. IMO, that is not a true test of skill as a professional boxer, he's playing a different game and is rewarded for it. There's been far too many defensive geniuses in this game that shows how to be defensive but in there fighting. Hell even Rigondeaux fights more like a pro IMO.

A prize fighter fights to get paid...most fighters don't even follow or like boxing
Many of them will tell you that
Sugar ray Leonard turned pro to support his family n ailing dad not cause he loved to fight
I love to fight but I damn sure don't like getting hit
You win fights by hitting the most n getting hit less....I'm not training my son to be a brain dead tough guy with millions of fans but no money, or faculties
Boxing is hit n not get hit....like my old trainer merhav mohar told me, if it works keep doing it until they can stop it or counter it....its his opponents fault they can't beat a fighter with an "amateurish" style
