WHat would it say about Loma if he fought Gamboa at 130 but not Walters? I guess you could argue he is going to test himself at the weight first.

That said, if he goes up and fights Gamboa and doesn't fight walters that would be disappointing.

        Loma ducked Gamboa.

Loma wants the small Rigondeaux, Gamboa is the same size of Loma, and Vasyl in amateur was fighting in the lightweight.

Getting sick of these pointless inter-divisional matchups.

Boxing is all about divisional supremacy.

Fcuk asshat matchups that dont make sense..... which will require a catchweight that cannot be justified..... which will produce a result that cannot be guaranteed.

                Fcuk all that shht.

Gamboa needs to settle on a weight.

                  Completely different situation.

Loma is now a professional, he should have a plan for his future.

That plan should not include weight-hopping on demand.

Loma is not the bigger man, he weighs 126.

Gamboa needs to make a similar plan, and the first part of that plan should determine what division Gamboa will settle on.

boxing is actually about getting the best resume u can get and makin the right money...it is hard to settle on a division when u cant get fights in thsoe divisions..
if boxing was only about divisional supremacy u'd never got match up like holmes vs spinks...ward dawson...floyd/canelo...and many more srlhagler...fights like that would never occur..and to add to my point i'd rather see guys like ggg take on adrade from anywhere from 154-160 more than i'd want to see the upcoming ppv...boxing is situational..u just have to know who to listen to that does not project bias

                      So would I.

Lomachenko is not as old as the other 3 eastern block fighters who all came into prominence around the same time..... they are all 30+.

He has more time, and he is the most promising.

I would like to see less sensationalism from him and more hard grind.

                      Outstanding fighter.
