Comments Thread For: Gamboa Open To Facing Lomachenko, at 130-Pounds

Former champion Yuriorkis Gamboa (24-1, 17KOs) is hoping to return to the ring before the year is over.

At the moment, the Olympic gold medal winner is resolving his promotional situation. On paper Gamboa is promoted by SMS Promotions, which is owned by rapper Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson. A few months ago, Jackson's promotional company filed for bankruptcy. Gamboa is negotiating the terms of his release from SMS and then plans to work with a new promoter.

Now this is an intriguing matchup. No cw, no rehydration clause.. Why not make it happen?

He won't agree because then it would actually show he ducking Walters who missed weight by a pound after being out ring for 8 months

I'll not mind Gamboa-walters, either one am fine with it... lomachenko lookks like could fight at 130, although I'll not call him a ducker if he doesn't want to move up...

I would have loved this fight before he fought Crawford. Gamboa should have stayed near 126 lbs, ****** move. Crawford is not a LW he is a full fledged WW masquerade and he still managed to beat him soundly in the first rds. Gamboa vs Lomachenko would have been fireworks, unfortunately he is not the same fighter he once was.

Ha ha , Gamboa also has gold medal , why not ???
Wait , Loma only fights 122or 126 , he is scared of guys that weight even at 127 , like Walters . After salido exposed Loma , he ain't fighting up , he only wants smaller ... Ha ha .

Seriously , Gamboa and Loma is a very , very , good fight . Of course , I'm going with Gamboa , but loma is very good , he can box and has some pop too .

But this is the deal : Loma is a 126 , who walks at 135 . Gamboa a 130 who walks at 140 or something ....
Loma doesn't has to go up , if he doesn't want to , but should not then be calling 122 to come up to fight him .

Rigo beats him at 122 , for sure . And Gamboa does the same at 130
And Walters at 127 ... Loma , you have tough choices , man :
Rigo , Gamboa or Walters ?? Which one ?
                Ha .

Hit and not be hit ; can not hit what you don't see .

Mickey Garcia ducked Gamboa , Juanma ducked Gamboa , let's see what Loma does .

Gamboa should fight at 130 or 126 if he can make weight
There are weight classes for a reason : he is too small for 135 . Hope he learned his lessons.

Hit and not be hit .
