Cotto shouldn't be forced to fight GGG but he needs to understand the belt will be taken off... by force.

Cotto and Thurman are full of themselves always talking in third-person.

“It’s the same answer, nobody handles Miguel Cotto’s career but Miguel Cotto.”

I never much cared for Cotto until he beat Martinez then I was pretty much forced to respect him, I no it is a somewhat tainted victory but he did what he had to with what he was faced with. I just love that attitude of "I'm the man, I decide what I do, not media, boxing forums or anybody, I fight for my family and intent to enjoy the spoils of my victory without taking any unnesercary punishment"

Dude would be flat out ****** to fight GGG for 50/50 split or without cw, though he should relinquish his belt IMO. I can see an uneven split with GGG still accepting what would likely be a career high purse, the exposure he benefits as long as he wins. Negotiations with Cotto will be arduous, prolonged and frustrating for his team, yet I expect they will accept whatever they are forced to as they really are the scrubs when they come to the table.

You think the WBC will be eager to strip the money man of the middleweight division ?

Cotto's already giving the heads up that there's no way he will face Golovkin or Lemieux for that matter.

I want to root for Cotto, but i really want to see the winner of Cotto/Canelo face Golovkin.
I think there is more chance of Canelo taking the GGG fight...so maybe it for the best if Canelo gets the win.

Goddamn the ******ity is strong in NSB, I can't fathom the delusion it would take to believe that Mayweather not fighting Khan is the same as Golovkin not fighting Lara and Ward. Especially when Mayweather is facing Berto instead.
