Doesn't even matter if Cotto does what he wants to if Canelo wins, which is part of the reason why I'm rooting for the redhead even though I respect Cotto. Canelo is more likely to take a difficult fight even if it isn't the most $$$ while I think Cotto would fight GGG but only if its a huge reward relative to the risk.

It's honestly pathetic that people continue to bring up golovkins competition as a reason why cotto wouldn't be scared of him. No matter how you want to twist and turn it,golovkin is a solid middleweight who cuts through other people in his weight class like a hot knife through butter. Cotto knows that golovkin would beat his ass worse that Margarito did,and he wouldn't need loaded gloves to do it. Cotto wants no part of GGG,because he'd end up on his knees or on his back within the first 4 rounds.

It's pathetic how much Cotto avoids GGG when claiming to be the MW champion. Every boxing fan in the world knows who the best MW in the world is right now. I've enjoyed watching Cotto fight for many years, and have seen examples of his cojones on many occasions. But I'm certainly not enjoying this catchweight part of his career.

This fight is for the LMW championship of the world and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that as it's just as valid as the MW championship (I'm not one of the old timers who believes in the 'traditional' divisions and that boxers should fight other top guys a full stone/14 lbs heavier), but it should be labelled as such and not dressed in MW clothing. The winner willl be the no. 1 LMW in the world (unless Mayweather fights there again of course!)
