You don't fight all fighters the same and You don't always fight the same way, he stood in front of Maidana, Cotto and Canelo cuz he knew he could beat them that way, this was the fight of the century and the result will stay with both guys for the rest of their lives, Pacquiao wil always be known as the 2nd best guy of this era who LOST the most important fight of his career and the fight of the century, a lot was on the line in this fight and you can't take ****** chances, Pacquiao is the type of fighter that sets traps for his opponents and he's much quicker than Maidana, Canelo and Cotto, plus he has very short arms so on the inside and in the exchanges he has the advantage, plus he's a southpaw, so exchanging with a guy like this is ill advised, Floyd did what he had to do to take these advantages away from Pacquiao and use his own advantages to get the win, he used his height and reach, his brilliants footwork, excellent defense, timing, countering, sharp jab, everything and he still doesn't get credit.

Pacquiao's fans are disrespecting him by being mad at Floyd for not KOing Pacquiao, cuz they forget that Pacquiao is also a great fighter and winning 8-4 against a guy like this is a huge a accomplishment.

Floyd spent like half a round in the fight being the aggressor and Pacquiao made him look like an absolute fool. Mind you, Pacquiao is just as good a counter-puncher as Floyd, but his lack of reach plays a big role in being a less defensive minded fighter.

I question if you know boxing friend. How do you make someone look like a fool for a half of a round????? You could be getting set up. Pac has never been a counter puncher and I cannot think of any one who is close to floyds counter punching skill set except for JMM. Reach has nothing to do with mindset. Mindset is your style. And going into the fight everyone had a bias some bought into the floyd is scared of pac theory (LoL) and others knew pac had a huge problem with fighters with decent lateral movement (he wouldn't stand still so I could hit him) and had swiss cheese defense. The boxer beat the puncher, no surprise there.

Like mayweather was still in his prime when they fought. So the lunging overcommitting version of pac from 5 yrs ago somehow would have done better against a sharper faster more agile version of mayweather.

Fred roach even said 5 years ago floyd would have crushed pac. But pac fans ignore those statements.

He doesn't put a gun to anyone's head and tells them to watch his fights, if he would've fought a dumb fight and got KOed by Pacquiao in the process, would anybody have given him credit for it?
