Vasily Lomachenko: Rigondeaux refused to fight me

It's ridiculous. Than you have people coming in here talking about Arum possibly being an obstacle right after Loma explained the entire situation lol. It's sickening, it's quite interesting that fighters everyone labels technical and with high in ring iq are followed by some of the most simple minded fans out there. I suppose they have to compensate somehow.

I figure there is a lot more to the story. I think its well known Rigo's team are f#ck up's who even Rigo is trying to get away from. I won't be surprised if there was all sorts of confusion among team Rigo. I'm sure Rigo wants the fight. He needs a meaningful fight more than perhaps anyone in the sport right now. And I got no reason to believe Loma doesn't want the fight based on what I've seen previously from him & saying he's cool with a rehydration clause now.
Hopefully Rigo will get away from these dumb asses before more of his career has been wasted.Last edited by Eff Pandas; 08-29-2015, 04:23 PM.Comment

The only chance Rigo has to get big fights and become a superstar is to sign with Haymon and get on The PBC.
I'm guessing Haymon could get him fights with Frampton, quigg, selby if he was on board.
Nobody is gonna fight him otherwise, he's too good and doesn't bring any $ I'm guessing.Comment

As long as he's not signing a long term deal with TR I don't see the issue. TR has an opponent worth fighting for Rigo. Big difference with being with TR & just fighting a TR guy. I tend to think there'd be more issues with TR having Rigo fight one of their guys since he derailed the Nonito train & its possible its too early for this fight for Loma.
I assume cuz there is a contract. Supposedly there is an out in September. Or at least thats whats been said. With all the bs & misinfo with Team Rigo who knows what the contract says or how legit an out there is. I know Rigo doesn't got time to get into a Andre Ward or Mikey Garcia type situation with his current promoter so if he can get with Haymon & get throw into the 122/126 mix there & fighting on national TV it'd be a much better situation for him than fighting in Japan every 8 months or w/e he's doing now.People say Rigo should sign up with Haymon. But then they also say he can't leave his current promoter. But why? Are they pointing a gun on his head?Comment

That is a good point. The fighters with the highest supposed ring IQ's tend to have the dumbest fansIt's ridiculous.
