Came here to say that. I know what Andre Ward will do. He will go the Floyd route and wait until Kovalev slips a bit, or else loses so he doesn't have to fight him at all. I see Ward starting up some bogus-@ssed schtick about wanting to unify 168 or some boolshlt.

Boxing DOES NOT need another g@y defensive style prima donna expecting everyone to bend over backwards to fight them. This game should be 50/50 and may the best man win, like the good old days of Ali/Frazier, before Sugar G@y Leonard phaggoted everything up with his vagina.

He's a great fighter but he started all this v@gina antics man, trying to get every advantage etc, picking guys at the right time, fighting paper champs to claim more belts rather than the real top dog in a division. He would probs whoop Floyd but he started all this g@yness.

Rigo used to fight on Pacquiao undercards in front of a big audience. It failed to grow him into an attraction because he turned most of them off. If Andre has another Paul Smith fight on the Alvarez/Cotto undercard, he risks further damage to his credibility as a top performer. That's not a place for a one-sided tune-up fight, those fans are there to be entertained.

The surest way for Ward to become a big name again is to take a big fight. He could fight Jean Pascal in Montreal. They'd actually sell maybe 10,000 tickets, HBO would be all over it pumping it up as a major fight, and Ward would get credit for fighting a legit challenge.

Rigo got the hype machine behind him on HBO, and a big fight with Donaire. The only reason things haven't worked out for him is because Top Rank blackballed him for actually winning that fight. Pacquiao undercards did plenty for him before that.

And this would be Andre Ward, a proven commodity, as the co-main for a huge PPV fight. It's nothing but a good thing for Ward and will bypass a lot of the work he will otherwise have to put in to reestablish himself.

Why even bother , for the haters its GGG fault that Ward is fighting all those bums , and continue to blame GGG regardless of logic , Ward just doesnt want any high level fights this year , he said it himself and backed it up with smith and zac , his fans or rather GGG haters just ignore that fact , its sad to see a SMW wait on a MW to come up while sitting on his ass for half a decade , but its GGG fault that Ward just didnt fight anyone for several years now....

This guy should follow is own advice and stop talking and start fighting. Two fights a year is fine if your fighting quality opponents. He could've been fighting Paul Smith's and Zac Dunn's the entire time he was fighting with Goosen. ****, he had two promoters!
