Ward should fight a bunch of cans too, just like GGG. If he knocks out one Paul Smith after another he'll look like a monster and all the idiot, no-nothing fans will jump on his bandwagon.

Then again he doesn't have the right skin color for some of them so this might not work.

I haven't even seen a picture of his mom. Maybe she passed away or doesn't like to be on camera. As far as I know though, he was raised by his father, who is Irish-American I believe.

I feel the reason why people hate GGG is because he happens to have white skin and people think this guy is getting a special treatment.
GGG wasn't even given a chance for the 6 years of his career. He wasn't put in a pedestal.
Both GGG and Kovalev were not given a chance early in their careers.
GGG and Sergey had to work hard and wasted several years of their careers, because they never got a fair shot. It's not like they were being praised and placed on a pedestal as soon as they turned pro.

To become a star in boxing, you either have it or you don't.
You have to capture the people's imagination somehow someway.
You need that "IT" factor.
Has every white fighter become a star? NO, Kovalev struggles to sell.
Some people need to stop trying to make everything about Race.

True , GGG and Kov have worked very hard to be where they r , I mean when u look at some of Kov's old fights it looks like it was filmed with a hand held . But I think that goes without sAying cause all boxers roads r rough . The funny thing is I actually like GGG and have taken up for him when many attempt to marginalize his accomplishments . Don't really care for the racist Kovalev tho
