very true as long as hes fighting someone legit. there is no doubt the work duck gets thrown around way way way way to much but if he goes and fights some 10 to 1 odds fight its going to look really really bad

The thing is boxing has changed. Losing isn't everything these days. You can lose and come right back to be at the top headlining shows. Dare to be great people. Dare to be great.

I disagree. I think there are large segments of fans who think if you don't fight your top 2-4 challengers on the same night you're ducking at least one of them & if you lose once you suck or lose twice you need to retire. Look no further than Adrien Broner for an example of the later. By no means are the Duck People & the Lose Once & You Suck People the majority, but they are a very vocal segment of boxing fans.

Boxing hasn't yet entered that UFC-like region when a random guy can have 5 loses & not be considered almost a complete bum. Hopefully thats a region boxing enters into soon.

Didn't Thurman just recently say he wants Maidana? And now Porter also wants Chino. Do these guys really think fans are ******? Chino has been inactive for a year now and most likely take a soft target for his comeback fight. Porter and Thurman are obviously ducking each other.
