OK, I know you're an imbecile, but its impossible to be this ******. You have everything explained to you over and over, and it never takes. I guess you're a lowly troll, but how come you're not embarrassed? Everyone reading your output thinks, this guy is too ****** to live. Doesn't bother you one bit?

You are free to speculate all you want. But the fact is the negotiations never happened so no one can possibly know what would have happened.Duva called to be named mandatory challenger, understanding that she wanted her business tied to HBO and that Yvon Michel had his Stevenson business tied to Showtime.
The purse bid was going to be the only result to come of the entire thing, if you're being honest, and Yvon Michel simply wanted to cut the bull**** and save the wasted "negotiation period".
In Duva's dream world, Stevenson would've had his fight, Kovalev would've renewed with HBO and then fought Mohammedi (Duva was able to get put into mandatory position because she convinced the WBC that Kovalev-Pascal was the last bout owed to HBO; HBO wasn't going to showcase any interim fight with Kovalev that would've left them holding an empty bag either), Duva would make some big stink about needing negotiations to now take place, six weeks would've passed, Duva would then find some foolish reason to walk away from the purse bid, and it'd be October and she would still hope to have her "Stevenson is ducking us" story.
The fox simply got outfoxed; take the L and move on.Comment

How can they know that they couldn't negotiate when negotiations never happened? I assume it went straight to purse bids because GYM knew they had the bank to steamroll Main Events. And Duva didn't want to be cut out of her meal tickets biggest fight. Who can blame her? I also get a kick out of the sudden overwhelming concern that so many fans seem to have for the kind of money fighters are now making. The topic seems to be a new trend since, well, since PBC came on the scene.Comment

When the Kovalev bandwagon was in full stride and you ******s were happily abusing Stevenson..... did you cry once it became public knowledge that Kovalev ducked the purse bid?OK, I know you're an imbecile, but its impossible to be this ******. The same situation with Golovkin..... when Gennady blatantly ducked Ward with that ridiculous catchweight demand of 164..... did you cry when it became obvious that your little world was caving in?
And what about when Garcia beat Matthyse, was that another tearful experience for ya?
What about when Algieri beat Provodnikov ?
What about when Marquez KTFO6 ?

Stevenson just made that 3 mil for Bika right? Kovalev won't see that amount unless he is facing a Canadian fighter. The best deal they could get would be on regular TV. A unification will be easy to sell advertisement for. HBO is only paying Kovalev. If you look at his purses aside from the Pascal fight it is not even that close. 50/50 on what ever Haymon and his investors put up gets the fighters the most money, HBO get Main Events the most money.Comment

People are going to believe what ever they want you can give them all the facts and they will ignore it. I posted how much they made there last fights,-Because Showtime was willing to pay significantly more than what HBO was willing to pay, for the very fight that they pushed to make in the first place.
-Because Jean Pascal, as WBC mandatory challenger and only entitled to a 25/75 split of the pot, was demanding a 50/50 split of the take which Team Stevenson balked at.
-And the Stevenson-Hopkins fight didn't happen because Hopkins wanted to come to Stevenson's home market, fight on Canadian PPV, and walk away with a 75/25 split of the take on the fight.
If the purse bid was unacceptable, blame Duva's foolish self for going to the WBC and pushing to mandate the possible fight in the firs place.Comment

Kovalev CAN'T fight off HBO, because his contract won't allow him to. Stevenson isn't his mandatory, it's the other way round, so there's no way he can do it.Stevenson just made that 3 mil for Bika right? While I think Kovalev beats Stevenson, if Stevenson lands as many punches as Pascal it's a different storyComment
