Can we agree that Floyd Mayweathers last 5 years of his career is overrated

Mayweather isn't in his prime, if someone was to beat him they still beat the best fighter in the world, fact. It wasn't just the magazines that had them ranked so highly everyone did, where did you have Pacquiao P4P before the Mayweather fight? Pacquiao past prime? Yes. Pacquiao still the 2nd best fighter in the world only behind Mayweather going into the fight? Yes.
Mayweather beat the best and that's a fact.Comment

I'm surprised, I thought you would knew that.
If Mayweather has that belt at 154, he should defend it or drop it. GGG said he'll move down to the weight 154 where Floyd has the WBC belt, no catch weight. GGG is a small middleweight.Comment

in the last 5 years, boring fraud jr never had an exciting fight and eventually will be proven that he's one of the few fraud champs that will be easily forgotten.
his legacy is comparable to a stinky fart. smells but will dissipate quickly.Comment

In his prime, Pacquiao would have destroyed Floyd. But Manny has not been the same since being KOed by Marquez.Comment

Featherweight is 126, lightweight is 135.

You discredit Mayweathers win over Guerrero because his prime weight was 126, but want a fighter who's prime weight was 135 to fight Golovkin.Comment

One of the most overrated resume of boxing history possibly on the same level of Rocky Marciano with a mix of Joe Calzaghe and Sven Ottke.
With the mention of Rocky Marciano I think It'd be fair to say that Floyd decided to pick the fight with Manny Pacquiao six years when he went through losses against Bradley (controversial) and Juan Manuel Marquez KO loss instead of fighting him right after the dominating win over Miguel Cotto.
The thing is can we really take a fighter serious who is suppose to be rated with the greats of Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali when he dictated so much of his career on when he decided to fight his opponents?
For me this is a massive deduction to credit and legitimacy to rating of his overall career and partly why he wont be rated higher than Manny Pacquiao overall in the ratings.
To be a great it means more than waiting out and making smart decisions i.e. when a fighter is past his best that is a smart decision but not something which proves you as the best quality fighter this is why someone like Wladimir Klitschko deserves to be rated ahead of him, you just simply cannot always determine your opponents all the time and expect to be rated as the number one not only does Wladimir pick the better opponents but he is the better ambassador for the sport who doesn't disrespect the sport of boxing with any criminal behavior win or loss against Tyson Fury it is clear as day that Wladimir is being unfairly treated because of the hype around Floyds name not the accomplishments of the man.

When he was a Welterweight you considered him Top 10 P4P.
So you must have thought he was a good WW.Comment
