Its a fight that can go either way. Both are great fighters and I would love to see it happen if it made more sense from a weight perspective than Ward/Kovalev does.

GGG vs Lemieux then winner of Cotto/Canelo. All the fight in the same weight class.

Ward vs whomever in Nov then vs Kovalev. Both fight in the same weight class.

Every fighter ends up in the same boat. They start off hot and people praise guys like GGG and Kovalev for being "willing to fight anyone" until them and their team see how the business works with big fights on the horizon. Then they start this mess about money, a-side/b-side, who's selling tickets, who's been most dominant, etc.

I understand it's a business and their in it to make money, but we can't act as if the GGG's and Kovalev's of this world are in another realm. They're still in the business of making money.

jermaine Taylor in his most recent fight beat a MW champion. Nothing else needs to be said about the most lackluster division in boxing. One where 2 of the top 3 don't even fight at the class limit.

Team GGG should forget about Ward. It's a waste of time and money. High risk, low reward. Fans can forget about this fight and move on. HBO will never let it happen, mark my word. It's a guaranteed boring fight. Unless they want to lose money.

Kovalev vs Ward would be more sell-able. HBO would make this fight in a heartbeat.

You are not fooling anyone other than the GGG fans with the above post. everything you posted previously suggests you do not think its a fight that can "go either way".

You want Ward to go up to 175 to fight Kov knowing that pretty much eliminates a ward/GGG fight.

If Ward loses, the luster is off the GGG fight and it likely doesn't happen. Even if they make it Ward dropping back down would have an affect. Ward beats Kov and then he stays at 175 to fight Stevenson, Pascal etc.

You also never cared about fighter's finances and "A sides" until the GGG/ward fight comes up.

We get it, you like watching GGG KO weak opposition. I just can't understand why you and so many others are afraid of him fighting Ward.

But when certain fighters who shall not be named lol said they'd fight them, they all of a sudden need to flex the political game. ^^^ This!!!

Not even going to talk about GGG's fans...they're very sensitive!!!

GGG is an entertaining fighter but this super hero character that GGG's team, HBO and some fan are creating is pathetic....if you know boxing you know GGG and his team want no part of Ward....as simple as that!!! Keep talking Abel, keep it up!!!
