When Cotto gets passed Canela, there's no way in hell he takes orders from GGG..He will dictate every single thing if he decides to fight GGG..GGG should know better.

So yeah, it's been a long journey just to get title holders like David Lemiuex in the ring.
Just like GGG is saying now that Ward dont bring $$$
they were saying the same about GGG...
but now its ok to defend GGG and his A-side diva antics cuz its the Ward fight

It's some bit ch sh it when guys in the exact same division wont even fight each other. Nothing worse than that in boxing and there are no excuses.

Obviously with Ward there has to be some sort of incentive to move up in weight and risk his WBC mandatory position and stuff like that. There is zero obligation for any fighter to move up in weight, just like there was no obligation for Ward to move up to 175 to fight Dawson or Kovalev at 175, or Rigondeaux up to 126 and so on.

I actually agree, but good luck convincing Cotto after Pac fcuked him over.
I told all you guys that " manny-weight " was a nasty precedent.
When you guys accepted that rubbish from Pacquiao you demeaned the standards within boxing.
What, everyone really thought that Pac had a mortgage on that timing/weight-manipulation shht?
Once the fans proved that rubbish was acceptable, you were always going to be served another helping. Hard luck now.

..... if Cotto wins, Team Cotto will enter into initial discussions with Team Golovkin to see if a negotiation is possible.
Cotto will demand a catchweight, likely 156, maybe 157 at least.
Team Golovkin will refuse the cw, and no negotiation will take place.
Cotto will then be stripped.
Could be wrong, but wouldnt surprise me at all.

Other question that in my opinion this won't happen because Canelo will beat Cotto.
* Canelo wins
or.....
* Cotto wins, but Golovkin wont accept the catchweight
or.....
* Cotto wins, Golovkin accepts the catchweight
Golovkin/Cotto is highly unlikely imho.

I'm a Cotto fan and am still leaving room in my worldview for the possibility that Golovkin is not the GOAT.
Having said that, I don't blame GGG if he tells Cotto to go pound sand if (assuming he gets by Canelo, which is a 50/50 proposition at best in my book) Cotto insists on a CW for the lineal 160lb championship.
If you want the belts, you must allow the opponent to fight at the weight those belts represent.

Will only fight blown up dudes at full 154.

2) I cant believe that people accept that rubbish, let alone idolise it
Modern day boxing fans are shht imho

We all just saw the same sub-standard movie starring Pacquiao.
Extremely well-managed, avoiding top/risky opposition, relying on fandom and hype to sell tickets.
When he said " anyone from 154-168 ", what he really meant was.....
" specific fighters only, and only at the weight best suited to me ".
Golovkin is clearly a manufactured fighter.
I am not bashing him, just pointing out the obvious.
And that is fine, if that is what you're into.
I much prefer the old-school style of fighter who wants to be the best.
