Dude you can stop now. Since Floyd is no longer super welterweight champ GGG has no interest in him. You don't need to beg him to go up first so he won't be able to go back down. But as a shill for Floyd why do you keep up the nonsense? Didn't Floyd say he would beat GGG at 154? So he shouldn't be worried anyway. And Ward would lose if GGG came in at 160 and Ward at 172. The overrated bum couldn't put Paul Smith away with authority and Smith has never won a fight against anyone who was even close to good.

WBC may try this. But they are losing credibility fast. WBC paper champ Cotto, while everyone can see who is the man at 160. WBC paper champ Stevenson at LHW, while the consensus #1 is Kovalev. WBC paper champ Wilder at heavy, who hides in his country and refuses to fight mandatories. There is a trend here... And fans are not blind. Cotto and Canelo can make all the money they want, milking their nationalistic-oriented fanbases. But everyone knows this is the fight for the second place. If WBC takes back their word and will not strip Cotto is he refuses to fight GGG at the MW limit, then f**k WBC - they are becoming irrelevant. The WBC is the same organization that allowed JCC Jr. to avoid fighting his mandatory, Martinez, for two years. They are the same organization that never forced Canelo Alvarez to fight a mandatory opponent in the three years that he held their 154-pound belt. The Alvarez fight will be the second fight Cotto has had after he was mandated to fight Golovkin.
Do you really think that the WBC will suddenly grow hair on its ba..s and strip Cotto for not fighting GGG next when they have a chance to make a lot more money and get a lot more exposure with Mayweather/Cotto II?Comment

He proposed it in 2011. Here's what he was saying in 2013:

He proposed 150 at the end of 2011 for a potential fight in 2012. He weighed 153 against Austin Trout in 2013, that's y they accepted the catchweight of 152, the fight got announced like 2.5-3 months in advance, which is enough time to shed off that extra pound, and if he didn't feel good because of the weight he only has himself to blame, he had enough time to make the weight and nobody forced him to sign the contract, if he took the fight knowing he's gonna lose anyway but did it anyway for the money, then that's his fault. No excuses, and if he beat Cotto then fought GGG at 158, GGG can't make excuses either if he lost.He proposed it in 2011. Here's what he was saying in 2013:

Nah...
Golovkin needs that money. Cotto would just say them that if they won't accept a cw he will vacate and no fight --> Golovkin accepts it. He will want that Cotto money.
Other question that in my opinion this won't happen because Canelo will beat Cotto.Comment
