If you are going to make up hypothetical fights that Golovkin will take, to cover up the actual fights that he will not take...... you need to pick a different guy, no point in picking a guy who they have already refused to fight.

Cotto is not getting past Canelo, so no need to worry about his p-u-s-s-y antics in a GGG negotiation. Cotto's negotiating would have embarrassed Money May himself, so thank God Canelo is getting that f-a-g out of the way. Win or lose, Canelo will do Mexicans proud and fight GGG straight up with no bull-**** concessions.

400k PPV buys @$50 per PPV (broadcaster generally keeps the HD fee) gets you $20m.

HBO gets 7.5%, cable companies get 45%, leaving $9.5m.

Then you the promoters need to get paid (for arguments sake, let's put the number at 30%); that leaves just over $6.5m to the fighters.

And then you've got to pay Lemieux (assuming that the bulk of his own take is going to come from the Canadian money, he still needs to earn a decent US purse) even is Golovkin was able to get 70/30, he'd still take home half the amount you were talking about
