ya that just means there will be no cotto ggg fight if cotto wins same with canelo no chance in hell canelo fights ggg without a catch weight both fighters will give up the belt otherwise.

Canelo on the otherhand is a very proud Mexican, so while Golden Boy might play around at first talking about Canelo vs ____ and GGG can wait, at the end of that day that pride will kick in and he'll tell his EMPLOYEE Golden Boy to make the fight.

I don't see the WBC backing away from this because this time I'm certain K2 has got this in writing from the WBC (which is why K2/GGG allowed for this fight to even happen for the belt). If it's in writing, the WBC isn't going to want to get sued (they've lost millions of dollars before for stuff like this and they're not going to want that to happen again).

Cotto/Canelo can certainly try to negotiate a catch weight, and that's fine. If Golovkin doesn't agree, then Cotto/Canelo would be forced to go to a purse bid where it would be the full 160 pounds.
You say a guy who has fought MW's won't fight a MW, but a guy who never has fought a MW will face the best MW on the planet because... he's Mexican lol. Your analysis of pride is deep.

Enter the same day weigh in clause, will the beast GGG take the fight?

GGG is not going to pass up a Cotto fight because it's not at 160. If talks are real and Cotto says 157 or whatever, GGG will take it. If he doesn't he's scared it's as simple as that. But it's just yet another example of the lack of GGG's testicles. Cotto goes up 4 divisions GGG can't even go down 1 pound or move up 1 division. It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

I almost thought the Cotto fans were done hiding behind Andre Ward when it came to GGG. When it comes to Cotto defending his paper MW title(murray beat martinez) against a MW GGG, Ward cant protect him. A GGGCotto bout is irrelevant at this point, Canelo beats Cotto handily in a few weeks time.

I really want Cotto to win, demand his CW and then watch him get put to sleep by Golovkin just to see how you'll react.

Cotto fans are really ****ing annoying now. I'm part PR and now I want Canelo to woop Cottos ass.

Doesn't matter though, Gennady sends both to the canvas with broken ribs ala Macklin.

Sounds to me like they don't want GGG to get shafted on the split the way Canelo was. I wouldn't be surprised if GGG vs Cotto/Canelo winner ended up being around 157 or 158.

I expect Cotto to get crushed by GGG wtf... I think GGG is a great fighter which is why he should move up and challenge himself.

Where in my post does GGG accepting or not accepting a CW have to do with the outcome? I'm just saying he'd be a moron to pass up a Cotto fight it's at 159 instead of 160. He would have to be a complete moron, truly. Title or not that win puts him into a different level of star power.

He knows that Cotto won't fight at the full 160 so I don't know where they are getting to
