Its a big deal because its rare that 2 prime ATG fight each other in the same era

you need to follow boxing more and stop being a troll
uh, not sure if im misunderstanding your post here, fellow Floyd fan, but...

    DLH vs Tito
    Tyson vs Holyfield
    Tyson vs Spinks
    Maricano vs Ezzard Charles
(And just to see if Dagggum is around) Calzaghe vs RJJ

    All prime vs prime ATGs.

Corrales went on to win titles at 130 and 135 A very good win here, was considered practically a pick 'em so he was a respected champ. Doesn't have a Hamed level victory maybe but the later wins at 135 against Freitas and Castillo were good.

Castillo went on win another title at 135 Good win here too. First fight was debatable but 2nd was clear.

Judah won another title at 140 a vacant title won against a guy who was 23-6-3 who followed this L up by going 2-7 in his next 9 fights

Marquez went on to almost kill Pacquiao This was definitely a great win for Floyd marred only by his lack of attempt to make the agreed upon weight. That being said, Marquez looked lost and was unable to land, so I don't really think weight made a difference in the fight.
Made some in-line comments. EDIT: Also, I picked Mayweather > Pacquiao in the poll.

dlh-Tito definitely should have been a rematch...BUT OFFICIALLY DLH lost

Tyson was not in his prime vs Holyfield nor was Holyfield prime at 33 years old, Tyson missed his prime years in prison...depended on his power, lacked the head movement and combos pre 1993

Ezzard Charles was not in his prime....he started at middleweight, had over 90 fights and wasn't the same after he killed that one guy in the ring

Tyson was in his prime...spinks was not in his prime past 30 and hadn't fought in a year

do you even know when a fighters prime is???? Just because a fighter can still compete with the top gusy doesn't mean he is at his absolute best....you need to do more research before you try to troll

I guess you missed all the other fighters I asked about beating a bonafide all time great in their prime....oh wait you couldn't think of any for them

Maybe DLH-Tito. The rest, absolutely not.

No way was he washed up.

But you could argue he was passed his best.

He must think 60 fights and wars with McKinney, morales, poison Jones didn't affect him? Also he was 29

He became a boxer-puncher in the 2000s to prolong his career

I think he'd have faired better @ 122 when he was wbo titlist and in his mid 20s vs PAC

He didn't have enough in the tank to war like he did prior to fighting morales

Washed up? No. Past his best, slightly. It's hard to tell because his opposition was pretty soft after Hamed, leading up to the Pacquiao fight -- a bunch of washed up former names.

                  Edit

Not including the Morales rematch where he didn't look that great.

He was still a great fighter just not at his best anymore....his boxing skills allowed him to keep performing at a high level past 30

                      LOL.

You need to relax, you do realize we are on the same side here, right?

I consider it a win for DLH, it's not officially, but for sake of conversations like this, it absolutely is, because it was a robbery.

Do you know when a fighters prime is? It doesn't correlate exactly with age, every fighter is different, and you can absolutely be in your prime in your 30s, heck people generally are across the board. Your body barely stops developing from 21-25.

And yea, I couldn't think of anyone else at the moment, it was off the top of my head.

Ezzard Charles was over the hill a bit when he fought Rocky, but im on Rockys nuts so I will call it prime if it's convenient for me to do so.
