There's no evidence but there's also no evidence than Shane Mosley was juiced to the grills for his first Weltetweight run (other than Oscar) but it's pretty safe to assume he was.

Same way it's not unreasonable to assume Margarito likely had loaded wraps for other fights he was involved in.

The Comission passed his wraps for Mosley. It wasn't until ****m checked them again that he discovered the substance. So just because the Comission pssed his wraps for the Cotto fight doesn't mean he was clean.

They were two different commissions. We also don't know if there was anyone from Cotto's camp in Margarito's dressing room to check the wraps. I was a huge Margarito fan. But why is this man not in prison? Shame on Top Rank for even promoting him after the fact. Although that is the only way that a little justice could be done by Manny and also let Cotto exorcise those memories.

Why would he be in prison? The commission made their ruling before lab results ever came back and stated they wouldn't change their ruling based on the results. The results came back inconclusive, only that there was residue of substances that could be used as a hardening agent. In the meantime Schaeffer and company had their grubby little hands all over those wraps before they were sealed as evidence. A TR fighter under on a GB promotion at the start of their cold war....

Margarito lost the last 3 out of 4 fights of his career, ever since the Mosley fiasco he was nothing more than a punching bag. Hell, Cotto II was almost 4 years ago and now you guys think he's just gonna come back and have fighters "running for the hills"? Wow...these guys need to just stay retired.

My thoughts exactly. He WAS a fearsome fighter but that was a long time ago and a 4 year layoff won't help. Maybe Mayweather was reluctant to fight him 6 or 7 years ago but today he would beat him easier than Berto!
Style wise I would like to see Margarito against Maidana but it would be a one way beating from Chino and it would be stopped half way through the fight.
