Remember Dariusz Michalczewski? He never fought in the US . Joe Calzaghe didnt get that recognition except for fighting Bhop once and that was a Manny /Floyd kinda fight in terms of ugliness. Even the Klits get no love in the states.

Great, this means Duva will actually follow through with a purse bid this time. Hopefully it won't be like last time where she claimed she wasn't worried because HBO was going to bring big money to bid on Kovalev's behalf and obviously they didn't when she ran from the bid.

Stevenson's prior actions have always served as an obvious indication to me that he doesn't want to fight Kovalev (or any tough opponent). He & Haymon want to milk his career as long as possible with weaker opponents, because once he fights Kovalev, they know the party will be over. It will be interesting to see Haymon's and Stevenson's reaction to Duva's next move to make the fight.
