She supposedly has all these investors lined up, but will still not make a fight unless it is approved by HBO because she relies solely on HBO to pay Kovalev and keep her promotion in business.

So I can assume this translates to Kov getting paid finally? If he had fought Stevenson during the period between contracts on PBC she likely coulda played PBC vs HBO & got herself & Kov some nice $$$. Now she has another chance to not f#ck **** up with some russian billionaires, but I still get the impression she's the dumbest person in the room & Kov will be getting another sub-million dollar payday or best case not getting the $1.5M-$2M he'd probably be getting if he was on PBC. Anyway here's hoping Kov can get paid via Duva aligning herself with these Russian cats & hopefully Kov switching over to them once his Duva deal runs out.

Also I bet $20 Duva has sex dreams about Haymon. She mentions him in every intereview. If he is so "not ****" why the eff is she bringing him up all the time. She wants the D. Sadly from the rumors Duva would probably have more luck with Haymon if she had a D herself to go wit dem ole lady droopy *******.

Nobody ever said Haymon is the richest Man in he World but he is investing the most money into boxing compared to the rest

Haymon is not investing **** of his personal money... or very lottle.

Nobody as business savvy as Haymon uses their own money for investments - you get OTHER investors to put up the money for your ideas/plans.

Haymon is able to get investors support whilst De La Hoya is not. The fact that De La Hoya is a coke head shouldn't be overlooked when talking about what he would and wouldn't do with investors money. The fact of the matter is he could not stay sober in the build up for his prized assets fight. He's not someone people would trust with a wad full of cash because he sincerely wants to put on good match ups.

He sincerely wanted to end the cold war with Bob Arum and what did that result in? The decimation of his promotional company (Joint fights with Top Rank not included).

You have no idea how business investments work.

They don't just give you the money to do as yoh please -it's put in a trust account (often divided in many accounts so one can draw si ply off interest) and can only be taken out as expenses are needed.

Haymon has the investors because he obviously has the connections. Say what you will abput Haymon but he's very deep in the business world regarding entertainment.

Oscar is doing just fine. He's doing it smart now - building a smaller stable of fighters where he has hands on control over every aspect.

Haymon seems like he's built for the short -tterm as he's getting fighters on board by handing out lots of up front cash and lots of guarantees
                    .

Oscar, like arum and top rank, are building and personally investing in their boxers.

Look what Oscar did with Canelo. Wot arum did with Chavez Jr. Might be one of the best promotional and investment works in history of boxing.

Same with wot arum did with cotto... and pac...

Oscar is now starting in that direction.

I'm for whatever is good for boxing so if Haymon can get all this money to put on tons of free fights I just hope they are good.

But I have a feeling Oscars new business model is built for the long run just like top rank.. while Haymon is another "come today gone tomorrow."
