This is quite factual actually, GGG has openly said they want Cotto's belt not Cotto. Trolling aside, the do want to face Canelo more than Cotto that's for sure. That is obvious a much easier match up to them it seems.

Floyd doesn't belong in this discussion. Cotto and Canelo are fighting for the WBC and lineal MW titles, and GGG is a MW. So, by definition, they are big enough to be considered as opponents for him.

If they want a rematch the winner will have to give up his MW titles, or pay GGG to step aside, assuming he beats Lemieux.

I think GGG would be happy with those titles being vacated. If he beats Lemieux he will be a big enough star in his own right not to need Cotto or Canelo.

There's no evidence of that at all, and if you actually follow the sport, you must know it.

the problem is i think cotto and canelo give up the belts before they agree to a 160 fight as whoever wins will be the clear A side over ggg. i find it hard to believe that team ggg will let that happen. they say all they care about is the belt but if it means getting the fight or not i find it hard to believe team ggg wont agree to a catch weight. i could be wrong but fighting canelo or cotto would be huge for golovkin and would mean way more then a belt. If team ggg take more step aside money i will never take anything they say serious.
