Alvarez isn't a ****ing super welterweight. He hasn't been there in 2 years.

The whole telephone conference can be listened to on several websites and at no time Canelo even mentioned the weight or a preferred weight class.

What's the deal with Cotto is universally known long before the fight, that he is holding a belt hostage at a weight where he doesnt belong, he said it after the Geale fight already, but Canelo didnt even give his opinion on the matter. All we know is that Canelo wanted to have this fight at 156 and not 155 but he gave in to make this fight happen.

How does Mr. Donovan say Canelo is more comfortable at welter?

What kind of "journalism" is this?
Maybe 1 out of 1,000 boxingscene headlines actually describe the content

It is pretty much clickbait tabloid stuff hence everything ending in an exclamation point and being paraphrased beyond recognition

Canelo is heavier than GGG on fight night... the dude is a middleweight and a husky looking one at that

Cotto is still a 154 but we already knew that

Really weird article, turning air molecules into breaking news

Canelo can't even make 154 anymore lol. In a few years he'll be demanding 158 lb catchweights and still citing how comfortable he is being a jr middleweight.

I get what they're saying but 155lbs is no longer JMW. But they are closer to being JMW's than being MW's.

Well GGG and his fans said he can make 154 comfortable for a huge fight and winner of this is a huge fight

First must see who wins and what they do.

Good fight but why keep the WBC middleweight title in limbo and hold the division to ransom, neither fighter will be fighting GGG next, this is BS.
