berto's destruction of carlos quintana is more impressive than that.. quintana beat the eyebrows off a prime paul williams.. broner's biggest win coming into the maidana fight was a debatable malignaggi win.

so if we're comparing berto and broner.. i say berto is better by a mile.. if the quintana fight was too long ago for you, him beating josesito lopez the way he did is more impressive than broner's whole career.

Just to chime in, Berto stopped Carlos Quintana 4 years after Cotto stopped the undefeated version of him, and 2 years after Paul got the revenge KO. Quintana never defended the strap he rightfully won from PWill. Broner on the other hand, was undefeated when Chino beat him, and had previously held 3 major titles in 3 different weight classes. To think Floyd-Berto should do as well as Floyd-Maidana is a bit much...hell, Chino handily beat guys Berto lost to (Soto-Karass, Ortiz).

The Mayweather vs Berto will not sell like the Maidana fight. The Maidana fight sold becuz he's Latin and the large Latin boxing fan base bought the fight. Floyd relies heavily on Latin boxing fans to support his ppv #'s that's why he fight's a lot of Latin opponent's. Latin boxing fan's will not buy this fight and that's going to kill Floyd's ppv #'s.

I hate public assistance just as much as the next guy. But some girl in the projects beating the government outta a couple grand a month doesn't bother me nearly as much as some phat cat making eight figures a year getting billions in public aid to "bail out" his company. And by bail out I mean insure that him, and his buddies that are making six and seven figures yearly get five and six figure bonus checks at the end of the year. While the folks that make his company run are making $10 an hour, and get $25 gas cards for Christmas.
