Reportedly Mayweather vs. Guerrero did 1,000,000 buys, and Mayweather vs. Maidana I did 900,000.

Flores is at least 3 drinks down after giving this statement, straight up delusional.

        400K tops.

The fact that we were being teased about the Berto fight being on CBS eased a lot of us who were kinda like WTF at him picking Berto, but it's not so bad if you don't have to pay for it. But with a $75 price tag and a not so great undercard and also adding we're only months removed from May vs Pac that left a lot of casuals dissatisfied, I think this is going to be his worst outing on PPV since before Oscar. Maybe they know that already...

of course it will sell people forget at this point the standards are himself hes competing against his own ppv numbers standards. of course casuals will tune in thinking this might be the last fight everyone says they wont watch but if this fight dont do at least 650 700 ill be shocked

Agreed. I would say no more than in the 5- 650k butyrate but still a letdown for Mayweather standards. Short period of time to promote, no multi city press tour, 80-1 favorite in a PPV main event after teasing about it being on free Tv, and the massive backlash from the May PAC fight. Should be his lowest PPV in several years..

I honestly think the bubble burst with the Pacquiao fight. Even casual fans know this isn't his last fight and we're coming off paying $100 for a fight most fans weren't overly pleased with (regardless if you blame Manny or Floyd). So what's the incentive to buy his next fight against a 80-1 underdog and an undercard with fighters casual fans don't know and most Boxing fans don't really care to see? I'd be shocked if this does over 500K.

berto's destruction of carlos quintana is more impressive than that.. quintana beat the eyebrows off a prime paul williams.. broner's biggest win coming into the maidana fight was a debatable malignaggi win.

so if we're comparing berto and broner.. i say berto is better by a mile.. if the quintana fight was too long ago for you, him beating josesito lopez the way he did is more impressive than broner's whole career.
