NO BULLSHHT Hero,..... yes, or no ?

I already told you idiot, if Peterson fought at 141 for 2 years without making 140, and was next contesting for WW lineal and WBC belt at 142, he's obviously a welter, duh

It's absolutely hilarious how obsessed this guy is with Golovkin. He must have almost half the posts made over the last few pages.

It's kind of mind boggling to see so much jaelousy, desperation and blind hatred in a person. Somehow i feel sorry for him.

GGG haters are so pathetic, they get beaten up in every thread, knocked silly a couple times and they still come with even more ******ed trash. Cute.

This thread is about what the WBC decided and we will all see how this turns out. GGG will finally be able to fight for the title, hopefully it will be Canelo, it will be a huge fight. Cotto will vacate the title if he wins, but i see him getting beaten up by Canelo after he overcomes some difficulties in the first half of the fight. Anyway we will see who the true MW champ is hopefully early next year.
Jubei, Golovkin is the best middleweight.

Are you really not aware of that ?

Why do you follow boxing, if you dont pay attention ?

Bro, what on earth makes you think that Cotto/Canelo are better middleweights than Golovkin?

How could you possibly come to that conclusion ?

Canelo has never had anything to do with MW, ever.

And Cotto is obviously not a MW, he weighs 153. He accidentally picked up an ABC strap in a money fight with an injured Sergio Martinez.

Obviously Cotto should drop the worthless strap..... or, fanboys could smarten up and use some knowledge and common-sense.

            Either one would be fine.

Stop being dishonest you ASSHAT !

You know that Peterson did not fight at 141 for two years.

              You know that 100%.

So why did you decide to throw that dishonest " if " in there ?

Oh, because you are about to make yourself look silly, and you know it.

              Answer the question son.....

The 141 Peterson fight, was that a welterweight fight ?

NO BULLSHHT Hero,..... yes, or no ?

Im not really sure about 'recognition' per se, but its only been relatively recently where the RING has totally fallen off, when they changed their rules

                  Put it this way

Floyd-Guerrero established the RING welterweight title
Floyd-Pacquiao established the universally recognised lineage

Regarding the RING rules, not fighting at the weight for 2 years is a grey area - id certainly say thats akin to retiring (or moving from the division). Other places are less inclined to strip champions like that, such as TBRB... they don't like it, they want titles to be ultimately decided in the ring, within reason. Its safe to say though, Ward's super middleweight lineage is certainly under question at the moment.

I bolded some of your comment because I found it pretty interesting. I've always hated the fact that lineages are judged on face value alone. Posters on here would claim history if Floyd beat Cotto for the MW title, but we all know thats a joke. I talked about Kovalev/Stevenson which is an eerily similar situation. Let me refer you to a message I posted to TBRB, and Springs Toledo's always elegant and intelligent response:
The problem with lineal titles is that they are based partly on history, partly on subjective opinion. This is because lineal titles, like any other title, are not always won and lost lost in the ring.

If a lineal champ retires, while still "holding" his linear title, a new champ has to be appointed. That's where the subjective element comes into it.

Inactivity on the part of the lineal champ is another problem. Or maybe he remains active but in a different division, without actually confirming that the switch in divisions is going to be permanent.

How long do you wait before you strip him of his title? The Ring waits 2 years. Some sources, as far as I can gather, have no definite time limit or cut off point.

Many fans believe and insist that a lineal title can only be lost in the ring, or relinquished on retirement. But what if a title holder just stops fighting without ever announcing his retirement? Maybe because of an injury he hopes to recover from, given time, but never does?

This is why, as is the case with Andre Ward, different sources can end up with different ideas about who the lineal champ of a particular division actually is. Which makes lineal titles no more definitive than the alphabet orgs, when you think about it. And at least the alphabet boys have the power to enforce mandatories, which can never happen with a lineal title.

                  • Fcukit, I will throw the question open to all.....

The 141 Peterson fight, was that a welterweight fight ?

NO BULLSHHT, yes or no ?

And BTW, it will be interesting to compare your reply to Schaeffers, when asked the same question.

Hero can see whats coming, which is why he ducked the question.

A more accurate, much shorter, perspective is.....

..... lineage is not conclusive, so simply cannot be relied upon to support any claim whatsoever.

There are other (much better) ways, to determine who the best guy is.

                      Fkn simple !
