They never challenge Floyd to a boxing match though. It's always MMA or no rules... They acknowledge it's a sport then say "Well, if it wasn't for the rules you know I'd win." Well then WTF is so special about beating him? Last I checked Floyd said he's the best boxer in the world, not MMA or street fighting.

UFC has been doing the same thing for as long as I can remember. In the 90s it was like WWF except real, nowadays it is like boxing except closer to a real fight. It has always felt the need to piggyback off the attention received by other sports or form of entertainment.

This is the type of fight Floyd might cherrypick again, as usual. Under queensbury rules, McGregor is a sitting duck with no shot. Wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather goes for it, would be very much in character for this career-long cherrypicker.
