i dont think cotto will duck ggg but i do think he will want a catch weight and be willing to lose the title to do it. i think he will want a 155 catch weigh or so but so will canelo. just like ggg wants a catch weight to fight ward (aka he doesnt really want to fight him) wouldnt be surprised if ward asks kovalev for a catch weight the reality is all these guys are the same and people can say well such and such should drop the belt etc but the reality is they are all the same trying to win the pr campaign

There can be no catch weight demand in a mandatory title fight. That would be the same thing as refusing the fight and would result in the champion being stripped of his title.

As for Ward, that is a situation where two fighters from TWO DIFFERENT WEIGHT CLASSES ARE MEETING IN A NON-TITLE FIGHT. A catch weight in the middle of both divisions is a perfectly normal thing. Not to mention that the entire situation was nothing but hypothetical as no talks between the two camps every occurred and the catch weight was only a comment made by Loeffler to Rafael during an email interview.

hate??? He'll fight Froch & Chavez Jr at 168 but Ward at 164. But he supposedly can fight ANYONE 154-168. "Nobody wants to fight us"... but they turn down fights cuz it won't make financial sense...
