GGG's team must ensure a 7-figure step-aside fee along with a guaranteed shot at the Winner and a nix to a Cotto-Canelo rematch.

After that they might spend some time in Court facing Team Cotto should they come out victorious against Canelo.

Just like you ran from Ward huh Abel. Lmfao this guy is a laugh, coming out with statements like Canelo won't run from us like Cotto, coming from a guy who knows all about running this entire statement is ironic.

If he beats Lemieux and then adds the WBC belt to his collection that aim will be achieved. Whether he fights Cotto or Canelo for that WBC belt won't matter, in the long term.

i dont think cotto will duck ggg but i do think he will want a catch weight and be willing to lose the title to do it. i think he will want a 155 catch weigh or so but so will canelo. just like ggg wants a catch weight to fight ward (aka he doesnt really want to fight him) wouldnt be surprised if ward asks kovalev for a catch weight the reality is all these guys are the same and people can say well such and such should drop the belt etc but the reality is they are all the same trying to win the pr campaign

Well, they better worry about Lemieux first and stop worrying about what Cotto or Canelo are doing.

Lemieux's power is real and he better be ready for it.

So I presume that you two think it was pure coincidence that Ward changed his mind about needing tune-ups before stepping up to a live opponent, and decided he wanted GGG next, just a week before Loeffler announced the news about GGG/Lemieux?

And Loeffler not saying "Sorry Oscar, the unification fight is off, Andre wants us NOW" That was GGG running away from Ward, yeah? GTFOH.

GGG doesn't need Cotto or Canelo. He would prefer to fight one of them for the WBC and lineal titles, that goes without saying. But he doesn't need either of them.

He needs to beat Lemieux next though, which isn't a foregone conclusion, by any means.

Cotto has already stated that he will vacate his WBC title if forced into a fight with GGG.

                      What does that tell you...
