When you have the fighter telling you he's #1 ATG and nobody else is agreeing with that, you obviously have issues.

Jr. going to be sitting on a couch eating ice cream when he's 50 years old miserable reading the latest ATG rankings and finding his name in the upper 20s.

u are right bro smh, to be honest when i make my list i go off who i saw growing up, watching ali on youtube shows how great he is but its hard to rank him and ray robinson in my top 5 because id be doing it based on hype. as 90% of these posters do. there are a select few of boxing fans who actually watch and study those tapes of these greats, ive watched some but I admit im not that guy. I do listen to the experts and based on what they say ray and ali would have to be up there as some of the greats.. but when i make my top 5 list it will be fighters i grew up watching and actually felt the energy of their era.

            Mayweather Right About Ali

Ali was a great heavyweight champion, no doubt, but greatest of all time let's be serious. He lost to a prime Joe Frazier, he lost to Leon Spinks a 3rd class probably the worse fighter ever to hold the title, had very suspect wins over Norton and Jimmy Clark. He was only the greatest at saying he was the greatest-everything else is media hype and over-exaggerated B.S.

Any list with Mayweather name in the top 5 isn't credible in my humble opinion.

Because all these "boxing" fans don't understand that every boxer who fights for a championship or legacy all believe they are the best. If they didn't believe they were the best they wouldn't be in this business.

                    Glad Floyd recognizing Whitaker

I don't agree with the list and would have Whitaker ahead of Floyd but it's not like the list is crazy in terms of who he chose. Very great fighters on the list. I'm just glad he's recognizing my favorite fighter all time in "Sweet Pea" who has been truly underrated by so called boxing historians.

Don't agree with the list but don't really care much, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I can't see Floyd, Pernell or Chavez being above Ali but it is not unusual not to put Ali as #1 or #2, so not sure what the "stir" is about.
