WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs) caused a stir among some fans and boxing historians, when he presented his selection for the Top Five fighters of all-time.

Appearing on ESPN Deportes, Mayweather ranked himself at number 1, followed by Robert Duran at 2, Pernell Whitaker at 3, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. at 4 and Muhammad Ali at number 5.

He left out Sugar Ray Robinson, who is regarded by many as the best fighter of all-time. Joe Louis, Sugar Ray Leonard and Rocky Marciano were also left out.

Causes a stir? If that's how he feels, fine. If he doesn't rate Ali highly, whatever. It's nonsense, but again, whatever.

I am going to take a guess and say stirring the pot was his main objective with this exercise.

I simply can't agree with such a bull**** list. I mean, wheres rod salka? That guy easily deserves the first 3 spots.

I actually enjoyed that segment. He thought outside the box and didn't give your typical ass kissing list when people are ranking fighters they've never seen fight and can't name 5 of their best wins.

Obviously I disagree with it but opinions are like ass holes so who gives a damn. They're all great fighters and achieved the highest levels possible in the sport of boxing.

Delusional boxing champ can't read. Ranks the greatest fighter in the history of boxing 5th, below himself and a bunch of other fighters that don't agree with him.

And Zelenoff should at least be at 4. He went 125-0 and jumped from lightweight to heavyweight to fight Wilder.
