        "great fight" needs to be defined. I think one fight not on that list is Mayweather vs Chavez. That was a great fight

            I don't think Mayweather has ever been in a great fight, some good fights ok with Cotto, DLH, Hatton, Castillo 1 but never a great fight. Then again that is his style...he can deliver very good performances but just not very good fights. The same may be said of Whitaker, Wlad and Lewis.

              I would actually agree with you here, and i think this is somehow due to their fighting style also.

                  You can't blame him because he doesn't really do "great" fights. He just usually better than his opponents by not a little but by much.
                  The first Maidana fight was entertaining and competitive though because of Maidana's awkwardness.

                  I won't blame Mayweather for not get hit on purpose.
