Haymon is giving Berto a pay back. People are complaining but in my opinion Pacquiao turned out to be the worst opponent Floyd has fought in years so give Berto a break because he may just give more effort than Manny did.

how many times have people cried about floyds fights and how they will boycott, only for it to sell decent PPV numbers.. that's whats gonna happen here.. the undercard is legit and most people order fights as an excuse to throw a party. .floyd knew this backlash was coming and he still picked berto.

Well this isn't MMA it's boxing. And you are Floyd Mayweather jr. the PPV king, so this fight stinks period. I would've been cool if this was on free TV, but a Mayweather fight against Berto for 75 bucks is ridiculous at this point and time. He needs to stop defending it and just move on with the fight. Hopefully #50 will be better, if there is indeed a #50

Floyd fought manny past his best, plus berto made a point dont blame manny, maidana, and the others, there is one man who is the key to why the fight is biring that is floyd, pac did try but ecery time he got close floyd clinched or ran back, why do you guys always blame the fighter whi tries to push the fight? They can only do so much when the other guy rather retreat than stand his ground.

Pac did give floyd a tough fight, floyd couldnt get hus offense off and was scared to engage, this was the same washed up already ko pac who marquez knocked cold. What is floyds excuse for not beasting on pac and destroying him?

But to humor you, Sonnen had tough fights with great fighters including Anderson Silva prior to fighting Jon Jones.

We already know Sonnen had a mouth to sell fights that people would pay for. We also know he was a decent scrapper who held his own against the best.

Berto is neither a.) Charismatic b.) Having a history of fighting elite level opposition that would indicate he could hang with Floyd.

That's the problem here, boxing screwed this fight not Berto. Boxing kept Berto from ever getting the experience he would need for Mayweather. At least not from what we have seen. We can only hope he suprises us.
