Right now khan/brook is at that haye/chisora level of fight in america... but had brook beaten a rios or someone like that it would have be a much bigger fight globally

klitchko-haye was huge in america because both guys had that name recognition... Brook needs to raise his profile substantially

So the man that says Mayweather is childish because he says Khan should fight someone else to prove he deserves a fight, wants another CHAMPION to have a fight to prove he is good enough to fight him ? Yet he doesn`t see that as childish ! Oh NO !!!

If they held the bout right now, Khan doubts the match is capable of selling out Wembley Stadium.

He is not impressed with Brook's streak of wins and criticized his 2015 victories over outclassed opponents Jo Jo Dan and Frank Gavin. Brook is likely going to return on October 24th in Sheffield and dangerous Diego Chaves is being mentioned as the frontrunner.

"NO KHAN REMATCH" - Angel Garcia 2 weeks ago

              lmao,,,, you are an idiot....

Im not making any excuses for khan.... Its common sense that if brook fought rios or someone like that instead of jo jo dan, his profile would be much higher..

Regardless, i want to see the fight next spring in a huge stadium... But to think it wouldn't be bigger if brook had more name recognition in america is ******ed...

Like i said before, its on that haye/chisora level... Brook gets a big win or 2 before next spring, it becomes as huge as wlad/haye... To think otherwise is completely ******

Wasn't Khan recently quoted as this will be the biggest fight UK has seen in recent times? I mean dude in certain articles is talking about this fight being huge, then on the flip side in other interview he still downplays the fight.

Brook imo will have issues with the speed at first, but imo would eventually spark Khan out. All he has to do is put Khan on his back foot and the fight can be won. Brook is more solid, and stronger than Khan, his punch resistance is better, and he has better pop on his punches.

Why be mad at Brook? Wasn't Gavin and Dan mando's he got out the way anyway?

Brook should have fought Chaves instead of Gavin, but this is no big end of year fight.

Brook has had a very easy year, light touches galore, he talked a big game, but delivered very little.

Funny how you are bigging up Chaves, but only 2 months ago you described Chaves as a "warm up fight", a "undercard fight"

I don't know why you keep posting that comment. It says nothing about Chaves ability as a fighter. I actually posted that Chaves would be a great opponent to get at short notice.

Brook-Chaves would not have been the main-event on that card so yes it would have been on the undercard.

No offense but you really think that if Brook had fought at least 1 legit opponent this year it would have raised his profile considerably? I know people who "watch" boxing who haven't even seen Brook fight before. His name holds absolutely no weight in the US. Probably never will unless he unseats Khan next year, but it'd have to be at Wembley, bigger stage for them, more press overseas. It wouldn't be half as big here, what Americans care about their domestic rivalry in the UK?

It would be big among people who are familiar with Brook, but most American's aren't, even after his win against Porter, because Porter isn't that big in the states either.

Haye had never fought in America on a high profile show or on HBO so how is that even a relevant example?

It doesn't really matter how big it is in America. The fight will always be staged in the UK and almost all of the revenue will come from the UK in terms of tickets & PPV.

America is pretty much irrelevant to this fight. Now if you were talking Brook-Thurman or Brook-Bradley or something then yes Brook would need to raise his profile in America but you're talking about 2 Brits fighting in Britain.
