The best option for either Beterbiev or Skoglund would be to challenge EBU champ Igor Mikalkin.

Fonfara will pass, he's being built up for stevenson
Monaghan will most likely pass, he's being built up for Braehmer... Sullivan Barrera it is

I don't think Monaghan passes, he's hungry for a big fight.

On Chilemba, the WBC say they are going to make 2 eliminators. One against Alvarez, then presumably another one, might be Fonfara-Rodriguez?

Duva is left with a choice of putting Kovalev in with Chilemba, putting Chilemba in with Beterbiev in hopes of Chilemba beating him to prevent the Beterbiev mando/purse bid or having Chilemba continue down the WBC route eventually getting Stevenson but having to win two tough fights before he even gets close.

Fuck the WBC. Chilemba was #1 to fight Stevenson who hasn't fought a mandatory since 2013 (nearly 2 years) but it looks like Stevenson gets protected for another year.

It goes as low as Seanie Monoghan.... and after that is Sullivan Barrera.
... after Chilemba at #5, IBF is ranking Fonfara at #6, then Monaghan, then Pascal...

Nobody is going to be like, "Yeah, he fought Kovalev in his tenth pro bout." Even if it ends up being a close fight.
Look at how people treat Lomachenko. Nobody praises him for fighting Salido in his second pro fight. The fight was close and people act like Salido beat the crap out of him. That's the fight they will always use against him.

So good for Artur and his team!! They feel like they need more experience. They don't have to listen to the haters. Probably Haymon haters or something.

A Chilemba fight would be solid. I doubt it happens though. But who knows maybe ME are confident in Chilemba and will use him to try and conquer the two Haymon fighters (Adonis and Artur).
When joining the 'pros', Lomachenko was young but he immediately asked for a title fight (without accommodating himself with the new environment)... And Lomachenko isn't a killer puncher -- like Artur is... Artur who said Kova is easy work, because he beat him twice at the amateurs, a.s.o. ...

... he recently sent me a red K (without having any dispute whatsoever, here), and, as I never send reds, I sent him a green k in exchange ... And do you imagine what he did next? He sent me PMs full of curses... This kid must be on something...
