What the ****?? his last fight was against a guy who was 12-14-1
Peter Quillin to fight Michael Zerafa

I wouldn't really be bothered about Quillin-Jacobs being at catchweight, especially if it meant Jacobs losing his WBA regular belt. They both should move up, neither are going to fight Golovkin at 160 anyway so maybe there are better fights that they can make at 168.Yeah this is just a tune-up, but I'm wondering about December with Jacobs. Haymon may choose to preserve the title and not have them fight for it, or even let Jacobs vacate with his new guy - Eubanks already holding the interim version of it.
I know Danny struggles hard to make 160 and I seen Peter in some videos shortly after the Lee fight and he had clearly put on the lbs. Might be in both fighter's best interest to move up to 168lbs.Comment

Wtf - now they try to fight Macklin? Macklin was begging to fight Quillin when Quillin fought Konecny instead. Macklin gets sparked vs Heiland and now Quillin offers him a shot. In the interview mentions he expects a couple more fights at MW then to move up, and despite being in the gym year round, he doesn't have S&C coach to help him with his weight. All his working out on his own, he's probably adding too much muscle hurting his weight cut.
Atleast with this fight it'll be the first time since Fernando Guerrero that we'll see Peter look like a killer again.Comment

Peter looks like he's ready for the weigh. I'm actually looking forward to this fight. I haven't seen Pete look like a bad ass in awhile.

lol. gtfoh with that bull****. Quillin fought in April, is setting up to fight Sept 12, and will likely be fighting again come November/December.
He's getting busy and, with Lee, Zerafa, and the assumed Jacobs fights, he'll actually end up putting in a year that would **** on any year Golovkin has ever had as a professional boxer.
