Just because Wilder struggled with his that doesn't make all future cherry picks for every other fighter legit.
^^^ and this is where I deeply disagree

Molina, since the Arreola defeat (where he knocked down Arreola before being stopped), had gone on to win 5 fights in a row, get ranked in the top 15 by the WBC, and actual showed ability, if you actually watched the fights. Wilder was obviously the favorite, but Molina wasn't an absolute bum to anyone that saw him fight.

Salka jumping up nearly two divisions put him over a barrel, but even he walked into the fight on, in essence, a five-fight win streak (watched the Alvarez fight and, result aside, that was some home cooking there).

To simply paint a fighter as a cherry pick because YOU don't know who they are, doesn't look all that kindly on you as a fight fan.

        Well, he has to.
These cherrypickers are probably the majority of his favorite fighters. They must be since he's on here defending them pretty much all day.

Quillin is an undefeated, former MW title holder in his physical prime. Zerafa is only 23 years old, only tested by another 21 year old in Magomedov. Unless Quillin is fighting 4-6x a year there's no excuse for this fight. He gets tougher work in sparring (should be anyways). If they want to do the Jacobs fight they should've went straight to it, this fight hurts his stock win/lose.

I really believe that Quillin's mental state as a fighter is shot thanks to Haymon. Inactivity, poor match making, and being forced to vacate his title then left to defend himself vs fans, then having to fight for his old title vs Lee and struggling has taken a toll.

Well add this to the long list of shiz fights for quillin. I use to like Peter way back when, but he lost me as a fan. Seems like thurman, broner, mares, porter are the only guys who demand decent fights from uncle al

Scipio must be on Haymon's payroll or something. No matter what happens in PBC, he will be right there to defend it and proclaim it the best idea/matchup/fight in the history of the sport. I think he thanks Al Haymon ever time he goes to bed and every morning when he wakes up. Haymon is his god.

Don't forget that Quillin must dedicate a lot of time to his Rolex collection. Takes a lot of work to keep them clean and shiny. He barely has time to sleep, much less to train for a fight.

Not defending Salka fight; simply saying that to call Salka a bum for getting blown out by the 140lb kingpin, having not watched any of his performances as an admitted small lightweight, does a deep disservice to the boxing conversation.

Pull the Garcia fight and look at Salka's resume since the start of 2013; at 135 and below, he's basically won his last 7 fights (Alvarez decision was bull****).

That's a better year than Golovkin's first 10 years combined.
