      Canelo cant even make 154

Its amazing to think that arguably Trout beat both Cotto and Canelo

        Sure guy...

Trout would beat Cotto again if they fought. This "resurgence of Cotto" is smoke in mirrors. He's the same fighter he's always been with a little more confidence due to these soft touches he's had.

So a guy who actually fought Cotto, and beat him has no credibility? LOL, man the delusion is strong among the nut huggers.

Was a much closer fight than the scorecards had it, but Cotto did not win that fight. Trout imposed his gameplan and made adjustments, and Miguel didn't have any answers. It was a disappointing performance by Cotto, but Trout fought the fight of his life.

True, it's been all downhill for Trout since then, but he deserves some credit. The fact that Miguel didn't take him seriously -- that's Miguel's fault. I'm sure Miguel understands that.

Trout can't possibly believe Cotto was excited to fight him and "got up" for the fight, does he?

My only hate towards that fight and forgot about was that I WAS THERE at MSG. What a waste of money. It was a group of like 6 of us and some of them weren't even into fights. Didn't help that the fight stunk pretty bad and Cotto ended up losing. Real sour taste on the ride home, lol.
I was one of the damned

Don't buy that from these people. There's no indication that was the case. Cotto came in weight, (actually under the 154 limit) and was ready. Styles make fights and Trout's style is a difficult one for many fighters. To give you reference, Cotto came in at 155 for Martinez, so he was actually OVER for that fight.

Trout throws tons of punches, is a lagit 154, and moves. You said it right, Cotto couldn't adjust, Canelo did. Let's give credit where credit is due.

Does that mean Canelo beats Cotto, of course not. To take that credit away from Trout is just Cotto fans being bitter.

I never seen Cotto look so ****ty at a weigh in than with Trout. Idk what was wrong with Cotto he was gased by the 8th round. If Cotto was 100 % he wouldve stopped Trout

I pretty much agree with everything you said here, but what makes me think that Cotto didn't really get up for the Trout fight is that Cotto didn't have a Plan B -- in fact, he didn't really seem to have a Plan A.

But that should not take away from Trout's performance. He outfought and outhought Cotto. He clearly deserved the victory. I'm a huge Cotto fan, but Trout deserves props.
