if they are not title fights, doesnt necessarily means he must do 154, is some of the BS you can get away with when you are a star, not that i agree with it, but lets call it like it is...Last edited by icha; 08-06-2015, 04:07 PM.Comment

...and here they are Canelotards / Cotto Haters at full swing!
its amazing to think you're incredibly fckng ******. Did you forget he made 154.5 in his last fight and didn't look drained at all. Go jack off to your Japanese bums. Tell them to fight someone. Holding those belts hostage and only fighting once per year on new years. SMH.

LMAO! Incorrect, again. This is nothing but a list of excuses and it's sad because it shows how little you know of the sport, and how stereotypical PR fans can be.
I am not a Canelotard (whatever that means) because I can readily admit when Canelo lost, and who he had trouble with. The Mayweather fight was a schooling, the Lara fight was difficult and I called it because of styles.
The difference between you and I is that I been in the ring, you haven't. You talk a good talk, but don't understand what it takes to win inside that ring. Cotto is a fantastic fighter, and a HOFer. I'm a fan of Cotto, I just think making excuses is disrespecting Trout and the effort he put out that night.
Boxing isn't like most other sports, you get one shot, one night. You might have an off day, or the other guy might be having a great day. The bottom line is, Cotto was in shape as I proved in the other post, because he came in UNDER 154 and ready to go.
He said he had a great training camp, he was raving about his trainer. Trout was just the better man that night, and we will see who's the better fighter when Canelo and Cotto step into the ring in November.
1977-1985 bra'...where were you then? lol!Comment

my thoughts exactly. trout was bigger in all facets that night. rangier and outworked cotto. im a mexican, but the biggest cotto fan there is. he had a bad game plan against a bigger rangier guy.I never used the excuse that Cotto didn't come in shape etc for the Trout fight.
IMO bad bad style matchup...
Why Cotto who's 5'7" with a 67" reach out of a peekaboo stance, was trying to outbox the longer, soutpaw, rangier fighter was beyond my comprehension.
IMO Pedro Diaz could do but only so much.
If they rematch, Cotto with Roach now who has Cotto back to being an attacker instead of trying to outbox you, Cotto wins by TKO.
canelo vs cotto. its going to be a good one. but i think canelo is the fresher of the two. i see him win a split decision.Comment

CaneloTards in full swing and united on this one lol!
Facts:
Cotto left training camp at "high altitude" early
-Doing so, affected his endurance
Cotto had a huge argument with his trainer
-Damaged relation, lead to early departure from camp
Cotto's made a mistake in having his mother at the training camp
-Mother disrupted his training concentration, application, fighter-trainer relationship, resulting on his early departure from camp
Cotto was soft, lethargic and showed not being fully conditioned
-It showed during the weight in, the night of the fight seemed fat and was the slowest Cotto ever
Cotto was being over trained by the Cuban
-Freddy stated that the Cuban had Miguel running over 8 miles daily and over "spared" him on his camps; photos of a battled worn Miguel were posted here on Boxing Scene where Cotto seem scar, and what look like a broken/hurt nose
Cotto Haters/Canelotards Fantasy:
Trout clearly beat Cotto
-Fight was very close, but at the end Cotto beat Cotto that night
Trout lost against CaneLOL
-Fight would have gone either way as it was, without the INFLATED point cards announcements, Trout would have not being forced to change his fight plan and likely won the fight (loss any how, the fight was in Texas)
Trout beats Cotto on a rematch
-lol!!!!!!!! Really? ahahahajajajajjajaa lmao!!!These are trash excuses and both these posts are very delusionalI never used the excuse that Cotto didn't come in shape etc for the Trout fight.

Seriously, what do you think goes on in a training camp. Cotto does repetitions of specific punches and routine styles to apply to his fight. Cotto boxes less and pressures more now than he has with predro, throw his signature punches more, and you can noticeable see his put more into them than ever.Comment

These guys must think trainers are just there for advice and to hold the spit bucket in between rounds. The fighters just fight off their natural abilities. No training needed.Seriously, what do you think goes on in a training camp. Cotto does repetitions of specific punches and routine styles to apply to his fight. Cotto boxes less and pressures more now than he has with predro, throw his signature punches more, and you can noticeable see his put more into them than ever.
Diaz tried to turn Cotto into a Cuban point fighter. It was not natural to Cotto and it cost him in the Mayweather and Trout fights. He got revenge on Margarito, but Diaz was not proficient there either. Cotto should have been with Roach early in his pro career. Way before he started seeing things differently than his uncle.Comment
