Yes. Can Giovanni Segura be included? Their fight was my dream match and it exceeded my expectations (real FOTY imo). They're both done and they're not even that old.

It's crazy how Jermain Taylor went from 2 wins over Bernard Hopkins to shot within 3 or 4 years.

The most forgotten top fighter in the last 5 years has to be Lucian Bute.

Why not Nonito? He had a great career, 5 division champ and FOTY, BUT after his loss to Rigo he went downhill fast. He looked bad against Darchinyan even with the KO, showed no heart against Vetyeka, quitting when a younger Doniare would have continued on, and got KTFO by Walters. Now where is Nonito? He's bumming around the Pacific.

Because he enjoyed 6 years as a top class fighter. I have not seen a person mention Ricky Hatton when his time as top class fighter was a little more than 2 years, Castillo and Corralles was about 6 years, Morales was about 7 years.

People should perhaps show more respect to the fighters who manage to stay at the top for a long period of time; I don't think people realise what it takes. When you look at most fighters, who displayed longevity, they changed their approach at a point where others go on the slide.
