Rysandro, any chance you could provide a link for that comment from Hoya ?

I just wanna see what else was discussed, and if there are any other documented sticking points.

Oscars words are 100% correct, a rematch clause is irrelevant, so that is exactly what I would expect to hear from somebody who actually wants the fight. Good one Oscar.

The whole issue, I already explain in the other thread, Cotto and Roc Nation want thenfightnin NY. Cotto is getting paid regarless, so he wants to fight in his turf. In regards to Roc Nation their investor, want the fight in NY, do to most of them are base in NY.

Cotto wants a bigger split if the fight happen in Vegas, and no rematch clause. If in NY he is willing to do 50/50 but still no re,atch clause. He will entertain a rematch clause if the fightnis in NY and he gets then lions share.

It is smart for Cotto to want it in NY, Canelo has not fought in that type of enviroment yet!

And again Cotto gets exposed for the the little hoe that he is. The rematch clause isn't the hold up after all, its just they know that Canelo isn't a one kneed 40 year old coming off a year layoff or a one eyed Margacheato or a C level fighter they can cherry pick. He knows damn well the second he signs that deal he cashes himself out and gives up that middleweight strap. They are looking for a way out of a fight they don't want and HBO is forcing them to take.
