This will either be ortiz coming out party or stiverne's reentry into the title picture. The loser is probably finished
Ortiz is huge power puncher, he was no.1 in the WBA before his suspension.

He is a very serious threat ! What's your deal man ?

Ortiz has faced even worse competition than Wilder - he's never beaten single half-decent top 100 HW.

Stiverne never beat anybody except Arreola, and he looked like dung against Wilder.

Neither are not legit contenders in my opinion.

But this is the kind of matchup the HW division needs, to sort out the good from the mediocre and help establish some real contenders.

He beat a washed up monte barrett & knocked out a blown up cruiserweight on roids. Other then that he has fought nobody but kendrick releford. Hardly proves he's got huge power. No different then lucas browne. He has an extensive amateur pedigree from my understanding but he hasn't proved anything at the pro level as a HW. He was #1 to the interim, regular, semi middle, lower case WBA title. Chagaev was the #1 contender as the "regular paper champ". He is not a world champion. It was a joke the kayode fight was even an eliminator. Gift ranking because he beat a couple of journeymen & won a vacant Latino title. Let's see how he does against stiverne

This is real heavyweight match up.The winner should get a title shot.
Ortiz can really punch.Everybody knows Wilder is not in any hurry to
Fight him.He would knock Wilder into next week.Wilder is out
Looking for another Molina type fighter. He likes easy street.

I am told the Stiverne camp has accepted and they are waiting on Ortiz. I hope it's made.

I'd rather watch Razor Ruddock than Stiverne. I think this is a pointless fight and will be about as interesting as watching paint dry.

Ortiz vs Stiverne and you're not interested , lol. Just goes to show how contented you have become watching GGG in mismatches. The heavyweight match up is pretty hard to call, a 50/50 fight, when was the last time we saw GGG in one of those, or more to the point when will we next see him in one of these.

                  You're a sad case.

Stiverne is a slug. His fight with Wilder was one of the dullest HW fights I've seen in years, and that is saying a lot as HW is the most dull division in boxing today, except for the odd exciting fighter like Joshua. I don't care if it's a 50/50 fight or not. I have no interest in watching two walrus slapping each other in the ring.

You will never see GGG in a 50/50 MW fight because there is not a middleweight in the world who can push him to the limit. The only thing to bet on in a GGG fight is what round it will be ending in. And that is more or less a shot in the dark because you never know how long he will carry his opponent for. I wish he would adopt Ali's old style of calling the round he will end the fight in. At least people would have a baseline to use to guide their wagers.
