People have been waiting for nearly 15 years to see Floyd finally get his comeuppance and he's, literally, on the verge of leaving the sport and giving them a big '**** you, I stay winning'. The 'villain' is going to leave without getting beat, and they'e bugging. Leaving with another massive check would be ... lol
if you think this ppv does 1 mil buys you have your head up your ass LOL.this fight is going to flop so hard they wont even release the numbers afterwards.

PPV will do no fewer than 800k PPV buys' people severly overestimate the impact that the comments audience on this site and other sites actually relates to the fight audience that actually comes out of pocket for PPVs.

The hype won't get as massive as the 4.5m homes/PPv parties that hosted Mayweather-Pacquiao, but the audience for "Floyd's farewell fight" is going to be massive.

          whatever floats your boat, dude.

For price of a live ticket/closed circuit ticket/$75 for the PPV/seat at someone's fight party/$20 cover to watch at a bar, you're going to get the Mayweather-berto spectacle and at least two good undercard fights (Martinez-Salido and Jack-Groves), with one more TV undercard fight to round out the show.

For your money, you actually get a night of fights with your Mayweather purchase.

Thirst after that one fight Canelo-Cotto card if you want.

          • Anti climactic end to an Incredible career, would've been fine with it if it was on free TV, hope that Mayweather manages to get up for a guy like Berto, it is fighters like this that u overlook no matter how much u tell urself u r don't.

I don't believe he's gonna retire unless he loses , which is unlikely, but if it's not for something worth it I think he should stay retired after this, and for crying out loud PLEASE no rematch with Pacquiao!

I never said it would do 1m buys; I said that if it ended up actually doing really good business, folks here would lose their minds.

I disagree that the fight will flop; "Floyd's final fight" is still marketed as Floyd's last fight, even if he was put in the ring with Charlie Z.

People can hate all they want, Floyd went to jail, came out and fought Robert Guerrero, and still did good business. This will be no different.

will easily do 800k PPV, and I'll laugh my face off when you start realizing that the casual fans, the folks actually buying PPV, start getting behind the fight.

              • wait....is this real?

This is the greatest troll job ever. Not real.

If it is, he's just warming up on Berto prior to going for 50, which inevitably will be Khan

two horrible fights, but good riddance. I'm kind of tired of Floyd.

                    • I'm buying this fight,

Berto is going to do much better than Pacquiao, he has more heart. Dude doesn't just quit and just try to survive like some hoe.
