Do you actually believe that this fight won't exceed 40k buys?

I wonder what the over/under on number of PPV buys would be for this fight. That's something I'd consider making a fantasy bet on.

Probably get good odds for it to exceed 500.

And it very well could exceed that.

Whether it is or not people are going to tune in to Floyd's last fight. And soon they're going to start the "bad blood" "it's personal" angle.

But I'm still thinking about 500 mark.

Floyd did around 350 K with Gatti, Judah and Baldomir.

You're dreaming if you think he won't exceed those numbers at this stage.

              • He probably gets 600-750K buys. But they'll overstate his PPV buys again like they've done with other Floyd fights.

For a fighter of Mayweathers calibre, this is quite embarassing. This fight wont be even remotley competitive.
You probably haven't paid for a Mayweather fight ever, so what does your opinion matter? Floyd could've decided to fight Golovkin at 160 and you wouldn't have paid for it, lol.

Because if Floyd somehow manages to pull 1m PPV buys for his last fight (with the fight being Berto) some folks here will lose their **** and might harm themselves.

People have been waiting for nearly 15 years to see Floyd finally get his comeuppance and he's, literally, on the verge of leaving the sport and giving them a big '**** you, I stay winning'. The 'villain' is going to leave without getting beat, and they'e bugging. Leaving with another massive check would be ... lol

BoxRec still ranks Berto in their top 25 at welterweight, and Berto is heading into the fight having one is prior two fights (against decent competition). Michael Sprott is ranked just in the top 75 at heavyweight by BoxRec, having lost his last two fights by KTFO.

Methinks that doth do protest too much
