he better get a move on...as of now, he's a can crusher with a vocal fan base, a hypocritical trainer and a goofy promoter...he needs some eye catching wins ASAP
None of Golovkin's opponents to date were outstanding MW's for this period, but all were solid contenders - no worse than when Hopkins fought Allen, Echols, or Vanderpool (pre-Trinidad).
Hopkins beat better guys @ 160 pre-Trinidad than Bumlovekin has...
A Lemieux win will be a HUGE feather in is cap. Would be one of the best MW wins of this whole generation, since right now Lemieux is an absolute monster.
No. Not even close. Beating Lemieux, while being a good win, means NOTHING in terms of the context of this thread. Beating Lemieux is nowhere near the best MW win of this generation. It's not even on the same continent. And no, Lemieux is NOT an "absolute monster". Not even close.

You're a Hopkins fan. I bet you weren't complaining for Hopkins to move up in weight when he was dominating at 160 right? At least some of the opponents on GGGs resume are better than Hakkar.
