Has Carl Froch beat any A+ fighter when you think about it deep down, really has he and then If he hasn't what is the criteria to being an "A+ fighter"?
He's fought everyone he possibly could though and when he came up against slick fighters he often lost or was gifted a decision in his favour aka Andre Dirrell and the first Groves fight yet for some reason he seems safe and out of the criticism.

What it boils down to is bias, you give others credit when it favours whoever you're rooting for to hype their name up a very easy thing to do which has been done so many times before in the past.
yadayadayada and more of the same, but the fact remains that the fighter you're trying to make a case as a great fighter has yet to fight a quality opponent, not one. This at age 33.

Sergio Martinez came along, finally got the credit he deserved, when he dominated Pavlik and went on to become #3 p4p for some time, who had close fights with Macklin who put Martinez down and was ahead on the scorecards at the stoppage, and Murray, who was an uncrowned champion, who arguably beat Martinez in his backyard.

What conjunction do all these fighters have? They were on a similar level, they had tough and close fights against each other, thats why no one said the MW division is weak. Sergio Martinez was one of the top p4p fighters for some reason.

Now GGG is on the scene and he totally obliterates the same competition, the fighters who used to be great, who had tough and close fights against each other, who had alot of fans and who were known to be good fighters or ex champions, GGG is just that good, he is on a different level. Now all of a sudden the same people say the MW is weak?

I tell you what, GGG makes the division that used to be very competitive and tough, look weak. Learn to appreciate it. Some guys totally miss the point and their biased hatred doesn't allow them to appreciate greatness.

The HW division compared to MW has actually been really weak and now people finally give Wlad some credit, when i read NSB Wlad gets more and more admired for dominating even a weak division, but GGG does the same in MW in a tougher division and he does it in a way more exciting and fan friendly way. Deal with it.
Bingo. Before Ward was at 168, everyone called it a crap division because Calzaghe was king. As soon as Ward won the super six, the same people who said it was crap, suddenly deemed it world class.

I did't say anything about Chad Dawson. Maybe you should take some time to learn how to read.

Yes. Stevenson has beaten NOBODY in the whole of his career...

        • It's not impossible but so far he hasn't done anything to indicate he can break top 5 of all time.

You said Ward wanted to fight someone at 168, you didn't specify who.

Yes. Stevenson has beaten NOBODY in the whole of his career...
I was referring to your confusion between Pirog and Proksa. Casual fan, so you get a pass, especially since you've now gone and confused Stevens with Stevenson.

Maybe you should learn a thing or two about CONTEXT. Ward wanted to fight Bumlovkin @ 168 but the Triple Duck was too busy knocking over his TOMATO CANs.
