It takes a tremendous amount of skill to compete at the level and even more so when you look power as you will have to rely on your speed and skills to keep your opponents from walking through you. Imagine if he actually had some pop with his skill set. Would be a threat no?

I'd Paulie had power to go the the skills he has, he'd be the Italian ODLH.

Didn't mean to be an *******, but you can honestly say that about anyone. That's why I brought up Bradley, he sometimes wings his shots but overall he has good punching technique and yet still doesn't have power. Bradley has tons of grit and heart, if he had power it would be a game changer, worth thinking more about than someone like Malignaggi. Malignaggi only throws arm punches, has terrible technique and doesn't commit, so even if he had power with his style the difference would be minimal.

I just don't like thoughts like this because if he really had power he probably wouldn't fight the way he does. If Pernell Whitaker or Floyd Mayweather had power they probably wouldn't have concentrated so much on defense and wouldn't be as great as they were.

This guy knows whats up. Paulie's just a weak ass dude.

paulie is **** average. he doesnt compete at the highest level, he gets beat down. cotto/hatton/khan/porter all broke him easy. he is and always has been a gate keeper at best

You can say this about almost any fighter in boxing. Just replace power with another attribute.
