For the amount of fights on hbo and pbc not many have been memorable, and that's how boxing has been for a few years. I think the difference is hbo's production is excellent whereas pbc' is kind of amateurish, currently. Hbo just makes a **** fight look better, but I'm impressed by neither.

People please stop saying FREE because it not free..last time I checked you needed a cable box or some sort of digital converter to watch regular TV..It may be cheaper than HBO but it is far from free...don't fall for the hype.

If you are complaining about paying $10 a month for HBO for great fights then you are not a real boxing fans.

I will agree that the atmosphere is a bit cheesey

I want it be awesome, but its nothing special, and as long as Haymon can't build stars, it will not go anywhere.

People watch boxing for the stars not because of who promotes it. The biggest stars on PBC are overprotected fighters, no one outside hardcore fans even know who they are.

Might be time to make a Master Thread for Haymon

But seriously PBC doesn't suck, Haymon doesn't suck, HBO doesn't suck, ShowTime doesn't suck, etc. They all have their moments and their bad nights.

Going by the ratings that's exactly what people are doing. I think PBC has a lot of problems, and while that's ok for an amateur(sort of) promotion outfit that hasn't been around that long, it seems they aren't too keen on fixing them, the matchups are getting worse.
